Sweet "16" anniversary

Taking a look back...... This is senior Prom 1991. I thought I was real hot stuff! My dress was bright red ( to match the Aaron's cherry red Firebird car) Aaron's mom made the dress because I wanted it match the car just right, and I had my shoes tinted to match the dress. I don't think they do that anymore ( lets hope not). I actually paid someone to do my hair, yes bangs and all. I certainly look the era of the 90's but I think Aaron looked pretty HOT in a tux.
Our wedding day, April 30th, 1993
I really thought my dress was the most beautiful dress in all the world. Looking back I wish someone would have told me different. I think I looked 4 sizes larger than I was. Sleeves that could hold football pads, a bow on the back of the dress larger than my hind-end, and a veil that looked like a peacock. I know that it was the style back then but, really!!! However I felt like a real princess
No, Aaron is not 12. He really was 20 in this picture.

This year we went to Lincoln City to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was so beautiful. We had our own private deck with a hot tub on it and we were super close to the beach. The view was awesome. I absolutely love getting away alone with Aaron. We have such fun together. I feel so blessed to be married to my very best friend.

Happy Anniversary!! We just had our 16th on Monday too!! The room is beautiful. You have hardly changed at all. Just as beautiful as ever.

I totally remember dying the shoes to match the dress.

I'm a sucker for big hair and poofy dresses myself.
I always wished I could afford to dye the shoes to match the dress. You're a lucky duck.
